Protex disinfectants can therefore be used against 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) when used in accordance with the Directions for Use against Norovirus on hard, non-porous surfaces. Used for disinfecting ultrasound transducers, probes, mammography compressor plates. Most effective on nonporous surfaces made of laminate, metal, plastic stainless steel, and vinyl. In addition to ultrasound disinfection, the Protex also suits mammography compressor plates, vinyl exam tables, and countertops cleaning and disinfection.
