PROTEX® DISINFECTANTS CAN BE USED AGAINST 2019 NOVEL CORONAVIRUS

FAIRFIELD, New Jersey – Parker Laboratories, Inc. announces Protex® Disinfectant Spray
and Protex® Ultra Disinfectant Wipes have demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar
to 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) on hard, non-porous surfaces. Protex disinfectants
can therefore be used against 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) when used in accordance
with the Directions for Use against Norovirus on hard, non-porous surfaces.

• Alcohol-free formula
• Used for disinfecting ultrasound transducers, probes, mammography compressor plates
• Most effective on nonporous surfaces made of laminate, metal, plastic stainless steel, and vinyl
• Available in convenient spray dispensers or pre-packaged wipes
• No aroma
• In addition to ultrasound disinfection, the Protex also suits mammography compressor plates, vinyl exam tables, and countertops cleaning and disinfection
• Parker Protex disinfectant spray is effective on a wide array of pathogens, including the following:
  • Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and C Virus (HCV)
