Visipaque? is a isosmolar contrast medium (IOCM?).
At all iodine concentrations it is the only isosmolar contrast medium available for intravascular use.
Visipaque? is formulated with sodium and calcium in a ratio equivalent to blood.
Store at controlled room temperature 20 to 25 degrees C (68 to 77 degrees F).
Do not freeze.
Protect from direct exposure to light.
Visipaque* Injection in all presentations may be stored in a contrast media warmer for up to one month at 37 degrees C (98.6 degrees F).
